Assortment of orange-flowering Rhododendrons

'Tortoiseshell Orange'

Orange-flowering  Rhododendrons  are very welcome in my garden. I like this colour and it is a nice contrast between all the pink and lilac ones. Meanwhile there are - because all the work of modern hybridizers - quite a lot of orange hybrids, which are coldhardy enough to plant in western Europe and elsewhere in zone 7 or higher. Below you will find a collection of these hybrids, hardy to about 0 F. Some need more care to protect them for hot sunlight or wintercold. Pn!!
