Welcome to the English version.

Gardening with Rhododendrons and Azaleas is a wonderful thing to do! And if you are looking for more information, this site can help you. If you have the right conditions, you can also create your green paradise with these excellent plants. About 23 years I am gardening with Rhododendrons and Azaleas, and for me it is one of the highlights of my life. Every spring it is a wealth of flowers and beautiful plants with their beautiful new growth, appearing in silver, fine green and even mahogany\bronze leaves.

"Walking" over the navigation bar, you can see all the topics, this website is dealing with. Just being "mad about plants" it means, that I don't only love rhododendrons and azaleas. Grasses, conifers, bulbs, daylilies etc. fill my garden too. You can also find my thoughts about photography and photos about wild flowers on the Costa Blanca in Spain, etc.

However, you must realize, that I am living in The Netherlands, and that your climate can be different from here in western Europe. Most of our winters are mild with temperatures hardly below 5 to 10 F (-10 till -15C). But some winters can be quite strong till 0 F. or even a bit lower. There can also be a difference in the assortment of plants you can buy - also depending on the climate and other conditions.
